I can truly recommend it with a clear conscience! Everything is fantastic from start to finish. Everything is done with love, and we felt very comfortable. Thank you for the wonderful time with you! We'll definitely see you again! A must-do with children in Koh Samui!

Family-oriented establishment. Very welcoming. The staff and manager are very courteous and professional. Friendly and helpful.
The pool is clean and pleasant. A new pool will be built soon (November 24) and it promises to be large and beautiful.
Childcare is available, and the play area is suitable for young children.
Small restaurants are available on site. We had breakfast there: fruit, pancakes, waffles... We had a great time 😋

Used to come with my husband and we were planning to come back there if necessary when we have a baby - which we did. I travelled alone with my 10 months old. Everything is family oriented : baby cot, baby bath, playground, swimming pool etc. They have a nanny/supervisor service included with a “kid club”.

This is our favourite family place to stay in Thailand! We came to Maya Resort for four nights + ended up staying four weeks. This is truly a magical place for both children, and for us parents who needed some rest + relaxation. The staff here made our stay so easy + comfortable, and the facilities for the kids are incredible. We didn’t want to leave. I would highly recommend this as a place for families that are looking for a fun holiday, with lots of other kids + families around. We will definitely be back 🙌🏼

Great location, a few feet from 7/11 and the fisherman village. The place is neat and clean and the family rooms is well equipped.
The only bad thing was that our air conditioning was leaking and there was no answer at the number that was on the Agoda site and no one at the lobby. It was 23:00 PM and we had to improvise with a bucket we found outside and sleep with the drapes open so the sound of the dripping and the sun woke us up very early. Every place who respect itself MUST have a humen contact number incase of late emergency, to at list give alternative solutions.

Maya is a gem in the midst of the chaos of fisherman's village. Great for kids, perfect for easy walking to many major tourist spots and very inviting. Service is friendly and helpful...

Firstly we mostly dealt with Richard Bone, one of the Hungarian siblings referred to by a previous reviewer. We found him extremely helpful, reliable and couldn't do enough for us. Everything on the financial side was totally 100% and trouble free. We had a garden villa which was excellent and very peaceful. We are an older couple with no children but we had a wonderful peaceful time in this family friendly resort. We would not hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone.

Overall 5 star stay. Super friendly staff, great location for families with kids, they have 2 pools, little animals (turtles). The food was great, it’s pretty central to walk everywhere. I also rented a scooter through the hotel - 300 bhat. Shootout to the owner, he let us stay longer in the room when we had to check out for a late flight. Fantastic kids indoor location with always smiling staff!

Very family oriented and friendly staff. Premises are safe at night and a 7/11 shop is across the street. Resort has a small nice cafe offering international and thai food. Different pools. Kids club was perfect, our kids (8 and 11) enjoyed it very much! Only thing was with the aircon in the room which was very loud but all in all very nice experience and highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Maya Resort for 10 days! What can I say except: "absolutely perfect" - Check-in: fast and efficient, - During the stay: the entire staff was incredible! Infrastructure, hygiene, friendliness, everything is there... and if I had to add anything, I had forgotten my watch in the safe and realized it 4 days later... not only did they find it but they did everything possible to ensure I got it back before leaving for Europe. Lovely hotel! Excellent rooms for families (we were a couple plus 3), clean and equipped. The place is perfectly suited for children from the pool with lots of accessories, the yard and the kids' club. There is a restaurant with a bar and excellent food. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the entrance to Fisherman Village.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week.
Pros:
+ The host is very responsive and helpful
+ The location is ideally located and easily accessible. It's 10-15 minutes from the airport, and only a few minutes walk to the Beach and Fisherman's Village.
+ Markets and restaurants are all within a 5 walk
+ The resort is VERY family-friendly, and made our kids very happy
+ The restaurant is fast, good, and inexpensive
+ The drinks in the restaurant are surprisingly good... better than what you'll get downtown.
+ The staff are extremely kind and gracious. Our kids loved the staff in the kid's club, and would prefer to go there than to use technology.
+ There are two community pools, which are great, but the 2-bedroom villa with private pool was fantastic! We would definitely do that again.

Great location. Close to Fisherman's Village. You can get a bit boisterous, but the hotel is quiet. Two swimming pools and plenty of toys for the kids. The doors don't close properly, so sometimes there are ants or flies. More frequent cleaning would be nice; in our four-night stay, it wasn't cleaned once. But definitely recommended.

Super nice accommodation within walking distance of Fishers Market. Lots to do for kids, and attention to detail is paramount (like child gates that the resort can't remove, and anti-bump cushions on the corners of the tables). We had an apartment with two separate bedrooms, which we highly recommend with kids. It includes a lovely indoor play area that you can use for free, with instructors providing extra supervision.
The only downside might be the play equipment, which is a bit outdated and has some shortcomings (trampoline/swing). But still highly recommended if you're looking for accommodation on the island with small children!

We had a wonderful 2-day stay at Maya Resort Koh Samui with our kids, and it was truly memorable. The hospitality extended by the staff and the owner was exceptional—thank you for managing the property so well and making us feel right at home.
What stood out the most for us was the kids’ play zone, which was not only well-equipped but also thoughtfully staffed with caring nannies who were incredibly helpful and attentive. This allowed us some peaceful moments while knowing our children were in safe hands and having fun.
The entire resort was spotless, and cleanliness was clearly a top priority across rooms and common areas. The location is also perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions, beaches, and restaurants—making it ideal for families.
Highly recommended for anyone traveling with kids or looking for a relaxing, family-friendly stay in Koh Samui. Thank you again to the entire Maya Resort team!

We stayed for 7 nights at Maya Resort and had a wonderful experience.
The location is excellent, close to everything yet peaceful and quiet.
The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile.
The hotel is very family-friendly and especially suitable for children.
There are two swimming pools with plenty of comfortable seating around them,
making it easy to relax while the kids enjoy the water.
Overall, a very pleasant and convenient place for a family vacation.
We would happily return.

Super nice accommodation, especially for families with children. Pool, trampoline, swing, and a few animals, as well as various activities for children – dancing, painting, crafts, and even self-defense and a movie night.
Everything is lovingly made and maintained. Attentive staff and a very good location near the night market. A 7/11 and others are right across the street, but with sufficient social distancing.
The restaurant could be a bit better, but you can still get your fill here.

The location is AMAZING. Right next to the delicious night market, 7Eleven, Fishermen's Market etc.
We took the villa with the private pool and the kids enjoyed every minute. The hotel's breakfast is decent, but getting boring after few days here. The crew ia super helpful and always happy to help.
The room was large enough and fit our needs (3 kids, ages 7,5,1.5). Air condition was sometimes hard to manage (too cold too hot) but generally worked well.
Overall experience - highly satisfying.
